Few clinics have their own prosthetics laboratory. At Dental Harmonia, your crowns, bridges and prosthetics are designed and made in our own dedicated digital laboratory, located close to the clinic.
This closeness changes everything: the dentist and the technician work in direct contact, timescales are very short — your prosthesis is often ready the very next day — and every piece is made bespoke to blend perfectly into your smile.
Arthur — Dental technician
Arthur is the dental technician at Dental Harmonia. He designs and manufactures your prosthetics, from the digital model to the final hand finishing.
Under high-magnification loupes, he sculpts the shape, adjusts the bite and hand-stains the ceramic shade by shade to reproduce the translucency and nuances of a natural tooth. Craftsmanship where technology serves precision, and the hand serves aesthetics.
The digital journey of your prosthesis
Digital impression & 3D scan
It all starts with an optical impression or a 3D scan of your teeth. No more uncomfortable putty: the model is digital, accurate to the micron.
Computer-aided design (CAD)
On the CAD software, Arthur designs the prosthesis in 3D — shape, thickness, contact points — perfectly matched to your anatomy.
Zirkonzahn milling (CAM)
The piece is milled from a block of high-strength zirconia by the computer-controlled Zirkonzahn milling unit, with a precision no manual work can match.
Sintering & shaping
The zirconia is sintered at high temperature in the Zirkonofen furnace to reach its final hardness and density.
Hand staining & finishing
The final, most artistic step: Arthur hand-stains and glazes the ceramic for a natural result, before the try-in and fitting in the mouth.

Technology & materials
The laboratory is equipped with a complete Zirkonzahn digital chain (scanner, milling unit and sintering furnace), a 3D printer and high-quality ceramics. We work mainly with zirconia — biocompatible, strong and aesthetic — for durable crowns and bridges.
