01 Does teeth whitening damage enamel?
No, when performed by a professional. The in-office product is dosed and applied under supervision, with the gums protected. Unsupervised kits, however, can weaken enamel and irritate the gums.
02 How long does the result last?
Generally 1 to 3 years, depending on your hygiene and your consumption of coffee, tea, wine or tobacco. Take-home maintenance sessions extend the brightness.
03 Is it painful?
Whitening is painless. Temporary sensitivity to hot and cold may appear for 24 to 48 hours, then resolves on its own.
